A contribution to a Mind Meld at SF Signal about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfsignal.com\/archives\/2013\/01\/mind-meld-the-books-we-didnt-love\/\">&#8220;Books we were told we&#8217;d love but didn&#8217;t&#8221;<\/a> appeared two days ago. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfwa.org\/2013\/01\/guest-post-invisible-ink\/\">&#8220;Invisible Ink&#8221;<\/a>, a response to Mike Brotherton&#8217;s olden mouldies (aka whiteanglomen) &#8220;hard&#8221; SF list, just appeared in SFWA.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the <a href=\"http:\/\/worldsf.wordpress.com\/2012\/11\/20\/tuesday-fiction-planetfall-by-athena-andreadis\/\">republication of &#8220;Planetfall&#8221;<\/a> at the World SF site caught the eye of <em>Nowa Fantastyka<\/em>, a prominent, long-lived Polish SF\/F magazine. They want to republish the story in Polish. This would be the second translation of my work &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/toseekoutnewlife.com\/\"><em>To Seek Out New Life<\/em><\/a> came out in Japanese &#8212; but the first one of my fiction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To increase my already wild popularity, I penned two bookend articles that gore sacred oxen.
