My thanks for your lovely feedback! In particular, I'm glad you like the atmospheres in the individual images and the contrasts between them. Also, I can certainly see EmerAlde as a young Serkadren, before he became wholly corrupt.

More from the gem series are definitely in the works. :)

A rather belated replay to this thread, but all the same... Upon recently viewing Hellboy II myself (having simply opted to wait for the release of the DVD) I found elements of it rather enjoyable, primarily the aforementioned character development, for all of its cartoonish aspects and borrowed ele...

This definitely makes for a direct, nicely expressive observation of the moods evoked by the Teahouse Fox; thanks for sharing this well written, humorous post. :)

Harrison's work sounds engaging; I'll be sure to look it up, along with the other titles.

Good suggestions here; I'll definitely have to look into the titles on this list. I read Erdrich's Tracks a handful of years ago and found it to be highly compelling, all the more so for the subtlety of some of its undertones.

I'm a fan of it as well. New Gallery

There's a new page in the Reckless galleries (found in the Art of Spider Silk Gallery as a sub-page, for the moment), comprised of original fantasy art that I've recently done. The art can also be found on the following pages: http://www.emergingartists.com/view_photog.php?photogid=168 http://www.th...
